MEASURE AND ROLL
Measure each amount of icing required per body part, then roll each into a ball. Place in a zip-lock bag so they don’t dry out.
BODY
Make sure your 70 g (2½ oz) ball of coloured icing is smooth, soft and crack-free. Place on a flat work surface and flatten it slightly.
LEGS
Make sure your 18 g (¾ oz) ball of icing is smooth, soft and crack-free. Roll it into a sausage. Using a knife, cut the sausage into six even pieces. Roll each piece into a tapered sausage about 7 cm (2¾ in) long. Bend the legs if you like (photo 1). Soften each leg at the leg joint, then stick them onto your dude with a dab of water.
